Who We Are

The Owner
Charlie Olbrias, age 31, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Leisure Management from Eastern Connecticut State University. He has been a runner since 1991 and ran his first marathon in 2002.                                                                                 Charlie founded The Last Mile in 2003.

The Crew
Rich O. - Time Technician. Rich (Charlie's Father) has been with The Last Mile from the start. He is one of the primary timers in the crew. You can always find him at the finish line!                                             (Rich O. Front row Left)
Rick S. - Data Entry/Finish line Specialist.                                                                                                                             Rick (Charlie's Father-In-Law) is in his second full year                                                                                                                         with The Last Mile. He is one of the main data entry                                                                                                                         crew. If you get to the race early, you will find Rick setting up the finish-line. Rick is also our go to guy when we need something built for The Last Mile.  (Rick S. Back row Left)
Gary V. - Time Technician/Data Entry.                                                                                                                                Gary (Good Friend of Charlie) is in his second full year with The Last Mile. He is one of the main timers and data entry person in the crew. John O. - Data Entry/Finish line Specialist.                                                                                                   John (Charlie's Brother) has just joined The Last Mile. His role is a data entry/Finish line specialist. John is a excellent addition to the crew. Randy S. - Time Technician/Data Entry.                                                                                                     Randy (Charlie's Brother-In-Law) is in his second full year with The Last Mile. Randy is both a Time Technician and Data Entry Specialist. He has a strong running background, participating in more than 20 marathons as a guide for Jason Pisano.             (Randy S. Patty V. - Finish line Specialist.                                                                                                                                             Patty (Good Friend of Charlie)  in her second full year with The Last Mile. Patty is a finish line specialist, handling all aspects of the finish line. Patty is know for her willingness to aid runners as they finish.  (Patty V. Not in photo)

Susan O. - Data Entry Specialist/Overall Support.  Susan (Charlie's Wife)  has been with The Last Mile from     the start. She is able to perform any and all duties done     by The Last Mile.
